The world outside can reflect our glory, but it cannot create it
one day. you will learn
you will learn what is sacred
you will learn who you have not been
solid brick walls and false emotions
a dishonest heart that beats to your own song
you will learn appreciation
you will learn some tact
one day. you will learn
eventually your heart will lighten
and you will realize
and you will look back
on what no one else will remember
you will learn what is sacred
you will learn who you have not been
solid brick walls and false emotions
a dishonest heart that beats to your own song
you will learn appreciation
you will learn some tact
one day. you will learn
eventually your heart will lighten
and you will realize
and you will look back

PHOENIX Michael Jackson DANCE PARTY @ Bluebird Theater
This short video I captured does not do the night justice.
It was a beautiful and memorable night share with the members of Phoenix.

I like my body when it is with your body
i like my body when it is with your
body. It is so quite new a thing.
Muscles better and nerves more.
i like your body. i like what it does,
i like its hows. i like to feel the spine
of your body and its bones, and the trembling
-firm-smooth ness and which i will
again and again and again
kiss, i like kissing this and that of you,
i like, slowly stroking the, shocking fuzz
of your electric fur, and what-is-it comes
over parting flesh . . . . And eyes big love-crumbs,
and possibly i like the thrill
of under me you so quite new
body. It is so quite new a thing.

C.L.D.
Imagine this for a second if you can....
I'm running through Grand Central Station.
Our train departs in exactly one minute.
I'm heading to an engagement party outside the city, which I was told specifically to be at the station at 2:30.
It is 2:47.
I'm in a dress and sandals.
My purse flinging from side to side occasionally slapping a passerby.
Throughout the hollowed tunnels you can hear echoes of what seems to form:
"HOLD THE TRAIN!"
The doors are closed. But to our amazement suddenly open.
"A second later and you two would have been shit out of luck" says the ticketer
After five minutes of catching our breathe and recalculating how easily we could have missed the train, Steph exhaustedly breaks the news.
"Chris, you suffer from C.L.D."
Chronic Lateness Disorder
Unfortunately, this is no surprise to me, except that I was unaware of the disorder status.
I'm making a conscious effort to improve and not be alone in my time zone.

This is real and very serious.
I do apologize if I ever ran late on your ass.
