Annie Hall
I just finished watching one of my favorite movies.
It's such a classic, with so many great lines.
But this one always makes me smile:
"Sun is bad for you. Everything our parents said was good is bad. Sun, milk, red meat... college."

SNOW DAY!!
Today is my first snow day.
There is something really exhilarating about being snowed in and unable to go to work.
i've been watching the snow dance for the past eight hours and it hasn't stopped for a minute.
This is much more relaxing than hurricane season!
outside my front door
the roof above my porch doesnt do much
And there's the car under the 12" blanket of snow
i got these daffodils yesterday and they are really brightening up this snowy day.
hope everyone is staying warm.

Inside all of us...
Is a Wild Thing!
I just got chills watching this.
The trailer just brought back so many wonderful memories.
I used to love how my imagination would run wild every time my mom read this book to me.
Sometimes I would get scared and other times I felt brave.
Now I can't wait for Spike Jonze to bring us hope, fear, adventure and Wild Things!!

Help Im Alive
I've been listening to Metric's new song "Help I'm Alive" a lot lately.
And I can't help but start tapping my feet and drumming my fingers the louder it gets.
For a second, I can imagine myself on stage in front of a keyboard
pounding at the keys, shaking my head.
I can get lost in the idea that I was in a band in my past life.
I love the energy that rushes through my blood when I blast a song that puts me in a good mood.
"Help I'm alive, my heart keeps beating like a hammer"

Encounter
In this lovely Spanish Coca-Cola spot, “Encounter”, a 102 year-old man is brought to meet a new-born baby boy. They’re not related, and have no reason to meet other than the connection of both being human. The old man’s face when he first sees the boy is touching. He then gives the new soul some sage advice that would normally be a bit obsequious, but seems so genuinely heart-felt and honestly-meant that I let myself go and went for the emotional ride of it. And you should too. Sometimes, it just feels good to feel good.

In a Charmed Life, A Road Less Traveled
I thought this was beautiful and moving.
It's such an inspiring story about love, commitment and the human spirit if you have a moment to read.

The Dreamers
Matthew: I wanted you to say that you love me.
Theo: We just did, Matthew
Matthew: No, you said you love me 'too'. I don't want you to say that you love me 'too'. I want you to say that you...love me.

This is Life
I know, I know. Life is so disappointing. Here you are. You have arrived. You are here. This is your moment. What do you have? You have pain. You have everything. What do you have? You have nothing. Everything is right, or everything is wrong. It's disappointing, it's confusing. This is life. What can we do?

Do You Remember Me?
Today while we were walking down the promenade, a rather crazy-looking man came up to us and asked:
"Do you remember me??"
"No, sorry man"
"I'm the guy who was found dead on the beach 3 years ago. Only, I wasn't dead."
Who would have thought we would've run into THAT guy!
